Both Revenge, Yeom Hye Ran Compare Characters In Mask Girl And The Glory

Yeom Hye Ran is one of the South Korean actors who is often found in various titles. His appearance makes him often a supporting actor who steals the public's attention.

Not long after The Glory, Yeom Hye Ran greeted the audience through her latest series, Mask Girl. In this series, she plays Kim Kyung Ja, the mother of Ju Oh Nam, played by Ahn Jae Hong.

"We filmed separately, so I feel quite alone. But hopefully you will be interested in the series!" said Yeom Hye Ran.

The interesting genre is the reason why Yeom Hye Ran is interested in taking this project. He also admired director Kim Yong Hoon's work with his aesthetic directing style.

"The fate is very curious but I have my own worries. I look like a strong woman but the genre is very surprising and I'm not sure I can play it," said Yeom Hye Ran.

Kim Kyung Ja came as a phenomenal character and left a good impression. So it was a challenging challenge for me as an actor," he continued.

Unlike the character Kim Mo Mi, the character Kim Kyung Ja is played by Yeom Hye Ran the only one. He is told to make revenge when he finds out that his favorite child has disappeared. This revenge action will remind the audience of the series The Glory which he also starred in.

"There are some similarities between the two of them who have a mother's love, but I feel Kim Kyung Ja doesn't have a supporter likeester Nam (The Glory character)," explained Yeom Hye Ran.

I'm sure they will connect with Kyung Ja, but not many will support Kyung Ja. My name is not involved in bloody violence, but Kyung Ja is trying to take revenge no matter what," he continued.

Director Kim Yong Hoon admits Yeom Hye Ran was chosen because of her impressive acting in every title.

"I saw his performances in several titles. When I composed this character, I saw a picture of Yeom Hye Ran and it was very impressive. I have a feeling he can do anything, he can catch a cow with both hands," said Kim Yong Hoon.

The Mask Girl series tells the story of Kim Mo Mi (Go Hyun Jung) is an employee who dreams of becoming a celebrity. Living in boredom, she finds something that turns her after becoming an online streamer as a Mask Girl.

The Mask Girl series with seven episodes releases starting today, Friday, August 18 on Netflix.
