Gal Gadot Against Alia Bhatt In The Film Heart Of Stone

JAKARTA - Gal Gadot returns to acting through an action film entitled Heart of Stone. This film is one of the titles that entered the Tudum 2023 line-up organized by Netflix.

The Heart of Stone tells the story of an agent who secretly works in two organizations with different goals. Rachel Stone, played by Gal Gadot, is an agent who works under the leadership of Parker (Jamie Dornan).

However, Rachel also works for The Charter, a peacekeeping organization that uses technology and overcomes global threats. Until one day, Rachel's mission was disrupted because of a figure named Keya Dhawan (Alia Bhatt).

Keya Dhawan is a mysterious hacker who threatens Rachel Stone's mission. This can be seen in the first trailer released by Netflix on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

This trailer shows Rachel who works as a secret agent where she jumps into a fight with her enemies. The Heart, which was part of The Charter, made Rachel try to fight any enemy who tries to seize The Heart.

Directed by Tom Harper, this film made his Hollywood debut for Alia Bhatt, who was already known in Bollywood. Bhat's involvement was also inseparable from Gal Gadot's admiration as a producer so she chose the actress.

This is a special film. I followed the shoot when I felt the right time to try another language, going to Hollywood like you said. But it's a fun project and I've met a lot of interesting people," said Alia Bhatt.

I am a fan of Alia (Bhatt). I have watched RRR. We are looking for someone who looks fresh, is able to play a character with a layer and looks beautiful. Alia is the right choice," Gal Gadot said in an interview.

The Heart of Stone was written by Greg Rucka andctions. The film also stars Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi, Paul Ready, and Archie Madekwe.

The film Heart of Stone will air exclusively on Netflix starting August 11.
