Attending the APEC Summit, Jokowi departs from Washington DC to San Francisco

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and his entourage continued their journey to San Francisco, United States, Tuesday, November 14 local time, after attending a bilateral meeting with United States President Joe Biden in Washington DC.

Based on a press release quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday 15 November morning, during a visit to San Francisco, President Jokowi will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit (APEC Summit).

President Jokowi and his entourage took off from Andrews Military Base at around 16.20 p.m. local time or Wednesday, 04.20 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

Seen to see off President Jokowi's departure at the Andrews Military Base, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States Rosan Perkasa Roeslani and the Defense Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Washington DC Marsma TNI Tjahya Elang Migdiawan.

Also accompanying President Jokowi on the flight to San Francisco were Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Military Secretary to the President Admiral TNI Hersan, Paspampres Commander Major General TNI Rafael Granada Baay, and Plh. Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi are in San Francisco to prepare for the arrival of President Jokowi and his entourage.
