Cool! Students In Solo Get Rates To Watch The U-17 World Cup For Free, Ticket Quota Is 500 Per Day

JAKARTA - Good news for fans of student age soccer in Solo. They will get a free share of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The Solo City Government has made this proposal through PSSI for several months before the 2023 U-17 World Cup will be held on November 10-2 December. Later, the distribution of free tickets will be distributed through the Solo City Education Office (Disdik).

Quoted from Antara on Thursday, November 9, the Solo City Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) finally received confirmation from PSSI regarding the awarding of free U-17 World Cup tickets to the student.

"PSSI provides 500 (tickets) every day," said Rini Kusumandari as the Head of Solo Dispora.

This number includes 10 tickets for the companion. The rest will be distributed to students in Solo for the preliminary round.

If referring to the schedule for the 2023 U-17 World Cup, Manahan Stadium will be the venue for the preliminary round on 10, 13, and 16 November. "Meanwhile, the preliminary round is only three days. The final should be full," said Rini.

The involvement of students in this event is because it is deliberately to foster students' interest in sports, especially football. "Who knows, later there will be football players who excel," he said.

Manahan Stadium will be the venue for Group B at the 2023 U-17 World Cup inhabited by Spain, Canada, Mali, and Uzbekistan. A total of two matches will be held in the first matchday of Group B on Friday, November 10.

The inaugural match will feature the Mali vs Uzbekistan duel which will be held at 16.00 WIB, then continued Spain vs Canada at 19.00 WIB.
