"The person concerned knew the perpetrator from social media Facebook, and then they exchanged WA numbers, so the two of them continued dating via WhatsApp and making video calls," he explained.

This intense relationship between the two, he said, peaked on November 2, 2023, then at around 14.00 WIB between the GP and the perpetrator (Aryo Gunawan) made a video call in an unnatural way by opening each other's aurats and then being recorded by the perpetrator Aryo.
"The perpetrator Aryo used the recording to ask the GP for Rp5 million by transferring it through a bank account. After not long after that, the perpetrator again asked for Rp500 thousand but the GP was not fulfilled," he added.
According to Iptu Sinar Simanjuntak, because his request was not fulfilled by the GP, who was a widow, the perpetrator then distributed the 28-second video recording through his Facebook account on behalf of Aryo Gunawan using a profile photo of a member of the National Police with the rank of Aiptu.
He appealed to the people of Rejang Lebong not to make or distribute pornographic videos through social media or others because they could be subject to legal sanctions.
