Mina Maritime Ship 036 Burned In Halsel Waters, The Fate Of 15 Crew Members Is Not Yet Known
TERNATE - The Search and Rescue Office of the Ternate Basarnas, North Maluku deployed its personnel to assist the crew of the fishing boat KM Inka Mina Maritim 036, which experienced a fire between the waters of Doko Island and Palamea, South Halmahera Regency (Halsel) while looking for fish.
The head of the Ternate Basarnas, Fathur Rahman, was contacted on Thursday, saying that the Ternate Search and Rescue Office through the Sar Bacan Alert Unit received the report on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at around 08.00 WIT.
The Basarnas team deployed from Syahbandar Panam to immediately dispatch the USS Halsel Rescue Team to LKP using RB 309 to carry out search and rescue.
Chronology of the incident on October 25, 2023 at around 17.00 WIT, KM. Inka Mina Maritim 036 with 15 people, departed from Panambuang Bacan Port to Rumpon around the waters between Doko Village & Palamea Village.
At 06.00 WIT, the ship caught fire and the crew contacted Syabandar Panambuang to ask for SAR assistance.
As is known, the number of victims as many as 15 people used KM Maritime 036 in white and blue.
Previously, Basarnas also deployed a joint SAR team, continuing the third day of SAR operation by searching for two crew members of the LCT Modern Putra Samudera ship who were declared missing.
