Aibon's Lem Budget Questioned, PSI Asks Heru Budi To Open Access To The DKI Regional Budget Draft For The Public
JAKARTA - The PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD asked the Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to re-open access to the DKI APBD draft document for the public. This is because PSI wants to anticipate the potential for odd budgets such as the case of a disgrace glue budget worth Rp82 billion in the preparation of the 2020 budget year APBD. Requests for access ease to monitor budget ceilings in detail were conveyed by the Secretary of the PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD in a general view of the fraction of the draft regional regulation on the DKI Jakarta APBD in 2024. "With the ease of access, PSI factions can question various budget irregularities, including those that at that time were quite busy, namely regarding the disgrace glue budget," Justin was quoted as saying on Tuesday, October 10. Initially, the DKI APBD e-budgeting system was opened to the public when Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok served as Governor of DKI Jakarta. However, when the findings of the public shocked blackware glue budget during the leadership of Anies Baswedan, e-budgeting were closed to the public on the grounds of improving the system. This is regretted by PSI. "We still remember, when we first involved in the discussion of the APBD draft, we were able to easily access any details of the budget design through the APBD smart site," said Justin. "Howeverstingly, the crowd seems to make the DKI Provincial Government under the leadership of Governor Anies Baswedan seem uncomfortable, by making budget detailed information restrictions in DKI Jakarta," he continued.

Therefore, Justin hopes that Heru will no longer use the same budget transparency standards as the Anies era in order to provide access to information to the public. "So that the DKI Jakarta budget, which has a value of around Rp. 80 trillion, can not only be monitored by our legislature, but can also be monitored by the general public," he added.
