Expansion Of Market Access, 12 IKM Binaan Kemenperin Mejeng In Inacraft 2023
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) said, as many as 12 small and medium industries (IKM) assisted by the Ministry of Industry participated in mejeng and received facilitation for expanding market access through the Inacraft on October 2023 exhibition.
The Director General of Small, Medium, and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) of the Ministry of Industry, Reni Yanita, said that the IKM players who received the exhibition facilitation were those who won the One Village One Product (OVOP) Award and the Upakarti Award in 2022.
"A total of 8 IKM recipients of the OVOP Award and 4 IKM recipients of the Upakarti Award, we provide facilitation to participate in the Inacraft on October 2023 exhibition," said Reni in a written statement, quoted Thursday, October 5.
OVOP itself is the Ministry of Industry's coaching program with a regional potential development approach in one region to produce one global class product that lifts the uniqueness of the region by utilizing local resources.
Meanwhile, the Upakarti Award is a form of appreciation in the field of industry given to outstanding parties, as well as being instrumental and active in developing and/or empowering small industries and medium industries.

Reni also expressed her appreciation to ASEPHI for holding the Inacraft on October 2023 Exhibition with the theme "From Smart Village to Global Market" which is in line with the vision of developing IKM and the community economy.
"The level of community empowerment in the IKM ecosystem is very large, because in the production chain IKM Indonesia involves many handicraft roles of craftsmen," he said.
The International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) exhibition this time was held at the JCC Jakarta, on October 4-8, as one of the largest handicraft product exhibitions in Southeast Asia.
The exhibition targets 100,000 visitors with a retail transaction value of IDR 50 billion with a trade contract expected to reach 1 million US dollars.
