In Tuesday's announcement, state-owned Rostec will increase several-fold production of Lancet and Kub kamikaze drones, as well as Takhion and Grenade drones.
"The capacity for UAV production has been expanded, which will help us double the production of Kub, Lancet, Grenade, Takhion and other UAVs," said Bekkhan Ozdoyev, Director of Rostec's Arms, Ammunition and Special Chemicals Cluster Industry, as reported by TASS, September 19.
Furthermore, Ozdoyev said that his party also plans to increase production of Kitolov, Strela, Vikr missiles and 9M333 guided missiles.
Not only that, production of tanks, several rocket launchers, flamethrowers and thermal imaging systems has also been increased.
"The companies involved in the implementation of the State Defense Order are working around the clock. Production of various types of weapons has increased two to ten times. The main ones are tanks and auxiliary combat vehicles. Then light armored equipment, multiple launch rocket systems, flamethrower systems heavy, thermal optical devices and weapons and others," he explained.
