The Results Of This Morning's Conference League Match: Present A Surprise
JAKARTA - The inaugural match for the 2023/2024 Conference League group stage will be held on Friday, September 22, early morning WIB. There were several surprises created.
In Group E, English Premier League club Aston Villa, lost when they traveled to Legia Warszawa's headquarters. Villa suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat.
Still in the same group, the strong club Eredivisie Netherlands, AZ Alkmaar also lost when they met Zrinjski Mostar. They fell with a score of 3-4.
Fiorentina also achieved unsatisfactory results. The Italian Serie A club only drew 2-2 when they visited Genk's home.
A draw was also created in the match between Club Brugge and Besiktas. Both teams had to settle for one point after playing 1-1.
