Denying The KPK Regarding Private Jet Ownership, Lukas Enembe: Show Parking Where?
JAKARTA - Former Papua Governor Lukas Enembe emphasized that he did not have a private jet. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was asked to prove the allegation.
This statement was conveyed by Lukas Enembe through his attorney when reading the plea or memorandum of defense at the trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday, September 21.
"I also ask the KPK to stop self-administering by spreading the issue that I have a private jet, even though in fact I don't have a private jet," said Lukas.
The defendant in the alleged bribery and gratuity case also asked the KPK to mention the whereabouts of a private jet which was said to belong to him.
If it is proven, Lukas invites the KPK to confiscate it. He will not fight back at all.
"If the KPK states that I have a private jet, please show me where my private jet is parked and if there is, I invite the KPK to take it. I will not prohibit let alone fight," he said.

In addition, Lukas also asked the panel of judges to stop efforts to criminalize him regarding the crime of money laundering (TPPU). Because, it is claimed that he never did it.
"I also ask that criminalization be stopped about me committing the Crime of Money Laundering, because in fact I have never done what was alleged and was often broadcast by the KPK," said Lukas.
Meanwhile, the anti-corruption commission suspects that Lukas Enembe has a private plane. The ownership was revealed after the KPK investigated the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) he had committed.
The case of money laundering by Lukas was uncovered after he was suspected of accepting bribes from the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijatono Lakka. Then, he is said to have received gratuities from other private parties who want to get projects in Papua.
In that case, Lukas Enembe was found guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption and gratification. Thus, being sentenced to imprisonment for 10 years and 6 months.
Not only criminal, but the prosecutor also demanded Lukas Enembe to pay a fine. The amount reached Rp1 billion.
Lukas Enembe was charged with violating Article 12 letter a or Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code Jo. Article 65 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
Then, Article 12B of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.
