The Palembang City Satpol PP reminded the public not to install props for the 2024 General Election campaign in public facilities or public facilities.

Head of the Tibum Tranmas Division of the Palembang Satpol PP, Cherly Panggarbesi, said that approaching the 2024 election campaign, many props were installed in crowded centers, protocol roads including trees and power poles.

"In accordance with Mayor Regulation (Perwali) No. 17 of 2017 for the installation of publication or campaign attributes, procedures and locations have been regulated and cannot be installed in public facilities," said Cherly in Palembang, South Sumatra (Sumsel), Tuesday, September 5, quoted by Antara.

"We have conducted an inventory of which locations have many socialization / campaign props for legislative and regional candidates to be targeted for control," he said.

The operation to control the 2024 election campaign props has been socialized since June 2023, so there is no reason to refuse to be brought under control if the operation is carried out.

"We have summoned all successful teams, legislative candidates, regional head candidates in the socialization activity of the operation plan to control the installation of campaign props inappropriately," he said.

For candidates and candidates for regional heads who will install posters, banners, self-socialization banners at the people's democratic party to comply with the rules for installing campaign props if they don't want to be brought under control.
