Jikustik Campaigns "Music For All" As An Inclusive Space For Art

JAKARTA - Jikustik band campaigns "Music For All" to provide inclusive space for all art connoisseurs in Indonesia, as well as celebrate the launch of the second song I Don't Want to Be Alone in the mini album 'Back 4 Good.

"We believe that connoisseurs of art come from diverse circles of society. With this approach, we hope that every work of art can be felt by the whole community," said Jikustik keyboardist Adhitya Bagaskara, quoted by Antara, Friday.

According to them, by providing inclusive space to all art connoisseurs in the Indonesian music industry, this can strengthen the goals of the artwork itself.

In the Music for Indonesia' campaign, Jikustic was inspired by a number of domestic and foreign musicians who had collaborated with the deaf community as partners. The collaboration was carried out to convey their musical works with the aim of providing inclusive space for all members of society, especially the Deaf Friends Community in Indonesia.

"Jikustik juga mengajak masyarakat secara luas untuk mendukung Komunitas Teman Tuli melalui gerakan dengan mengenakan gelangan 'Sun Untuk Semua'," kata mentor dan ahli bahasa signu hilang, Ayunda Kusmiyati Putri.

Through this collaboration, they hope that the event will not only be a symbol of solidarity with the Teman Tuli Community, but also a joint commitment to creating inclusive space for all levels of society. To mark the release of the song Aku Tak Mau Sendiri, Jikustik has prepared special video music presented to the Deaf Friends Community, so that they can enjoy the latest work of Jikustik with the wider community.

In addition, Jikustik also invites the public to support this collaboration by wearing a 'Music for All' bracelet that can be obtained at Jikustic online stores in the online buying and selling application. Later, all the proceeds from the sale of the bracelet will be given by Jikustik to support the Friends Deaf Community in providing the supporting facilities they need.

The song Aku Tak Mau Sendiri is one of the works of Jikustik vocalist and bass player, Aji Mirza Hakim or Icha Aji. The song was created in 2005 which tells the story of the feeling of loss to someone you love.

Previously, the song was sung and popularized by Bunga Citra Lestari and rearranged by Jikustic in their latest work this time. Interestingly, the song is presented through the perspective of a man in the band's music format.
