Impact Of Strike Action, Dune Film: Part 2 Delay Release Until 2024
JAKARTA - Warner Bros. production house. postponed a number of film releases amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. Their content film this year will be postponed for release until 2024.
The continuation of the story of Paul Atreides, played by Timotwas Chalamet, will be present on March 15, 2024. Previously, they scheduled the broadcast on November 3, 2023. Promotions have also been carried out starting from releasing several stills to the official trailer.
Because the SAG-AFTRA strike continues, actors are not allowed to appear in the media. This means that the big actors and actresses in this film will not promote this film if the film is released according to the initial date.
Besides Chalamet, the film also stars Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydoux and others.
Dune: Part Two, which was supposed to be airing in San Diego: Comic-Con, was also canceled due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
