Adobe Co-founder John Warnock Dies At 82 Years Old
JAKARTA - Photoshop maker Adobe announced that one of its founders, John Warnock, died on Saturday 19 August at the age of 82. This was known by the company's statement on Sunday, August 20. However, the cause of death was not disclosed.
"Today is a sad day for the Adobe community and the industry he has been inspiraling for decades," Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said in an email sent to employees.
Warnock founded Adobe in 1982 along with Charles Geschke. He retired as CEO in 2000 and served as chairman of the board of directors, a position he shared with Geschke, until 2017.
