TEAM Ahli SIT Malang Survei Lokasi 'Duntuman' Dari Dalam Tanah Di Sumenep
SUMENEP - A team of experts from the National Institute of Technology (ITN) Malang surveyed the location of natural phenomena in the form of sounds and vibrations from the ground in Moncek Tengah Village, Lenteng District, Sumenep, East Java.
Their arrival was accompanied by personnel from the Sumenep Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Lenteng District Office. They immediately asked for information from a number of residents of Moncek Village, precisely in the Central Hamlet of RT 02/RW 02.
Geophysics/SeismologistIT MalangRatri Andinisari explained that his party had coordinated with a team from the Pasuruan Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), which had conducted a micro-seismic survey.
"We have also collected materials and other data. For the time being, we consider this incident to be an unusual phenomenon compared to similar incidents in other areas," said Ratri as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 15.
On Saturday (12/8) morning, a natural phenomenon in the form of sounds and vibrations from within the ground occurred in the Central Hamlet of RT 07/RW 02, Moncek Tengah Village, Lenteng District, Sumenep.
This natural phenomenon, as released from the Sumenep Police, was heard and felt in five local residents' houses with a duration of 45 minutes from 09.45 WIB to 10.30 WIB.
"The sound heard in the natural phenomenon in Moncek Tengah Village is in the form of harmonic beats (ordered). In other areas, the sound is usually a little random. Therefore, the natural phenomenon in Moncek Tengah Village is unusual when compared to others," said Ratri.

His party will conduct a follow-up survey by installing geoelectric survey equipment to find out the resistivity below the location (in the ground) surface.
A geoelectric survey will be conducted by a team of ITN experts in the immediate time at the location of natural phenomena in the form of sounds and vibrations in Central Moncek Village.
"The results of the geoelectric survey will later be compared with the results of a survey from BMKG Pasuruan and other institutions to find out the exact cause of the sound of harmonic beats and vibrations. Please time," said Ratri.
