Trial Continues, Transjakarta Extends Operational Hours Of Kalideres-Soetta Bus Route Until 10 Pm

JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) has extended the operating hours of bus services by the Kalideres Terminal route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport. This is in line with the extension of the trial period for Transjakarta bus services entering Soetta.Director of Operations and Safety of PT Transjakarta Daud Joseph said Transjakarta increased operating hours which originally operated at 06.00 –09.00 WIB and 16.00 – 21.00 WIB to 05.30 –09.00 and 16.30 – 22.00 WIB.“ Both employees and people who want to do activities using this airport service can be served by their mobility. We will continue to evaluate for better service,” Joseph said in his statement, Sunday, July 30.It was recorded that the number of bus service users with the Kalideres Terminal route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport was 14,222 people for about 3 weeks of testing.The Transjakarta service trial entering Soetta Airport has been carried out since July 5, 2023. After 2 weeks of trials, the Transjakarta bus route to Soetta was extended as of July 26.Director of Operations and Safety of PT Transjakarta Daud Joseph claims, the number of customers on this route has increased every day."As for the highest daily subscribers, there are 733 people who are served by this SH1 coded service," said Joseph.From this recording, Joseph hopes that the existence of Transjakarta services entering Soetta Airport will be admitted by passengers to be enough to help them in mobilizing."We hope that this service will not only make it easier for employees who work in the airport area, either to leave or return home to their respective homes but also to make it easier for the general public to carry out activities along the crossing route," he said.
For this service, Transjakarta provides 5 low entry bus units that make it easier for people with disabilities and those who carry goods when doing activities.During the trial period, the Transjakarta bus fare for the Kalideres-Soetta Airport route has not been charged or free. However, customers are still required to tap in or tap out using an electronic money card (KUE).
