Undergoing Foot Surgery, Jorge Martin Hopes To Stay In Total During The Race In The British MotoGP

JAKARTA - The MotoGP calendar is entering its mid-season holiday time. This moment is used by Pramac Ducati racer, Jorge Martin, to undergo leg surgery.

The Spaniard hopes that his injury can recover and make him perform with maximum performance when appearing in the English MotoGP later.

Martin also gave an update on his condition after undergoing surgery via uploads on his Instagram account. In the upload that was shared Monday, July 3, the Ducati rider showed a photo showing the bottom of his right leg wrapped in bandages.

"Conducting a review in the operating room to solve problems that sometimes make it difficult for me on a motorcycle," Jorge Martin wrote explaining the situation.

Jorge Martin explained that currently his condition continues to improve. He even has the spirit to undergo recovery in order to be able to appear 100 percent after the summer holiday break.

"Everything is going well now! It's time for the election to be 100 percent at Silverstone," said Martin.

Previously, quoted from Crash on Tuesday, July 4, it was stated that the cause of the leg injury suffered by Jorge Martin was still unknown. However, the person had an ankle problem in the 2023 MotoGP opening series in Portugal.

Despite undergoing an unfavorable situation at the start of the season but in the early half of MotoGP 2023, Jorge Martin was able to appear as a rider who fought Francesco Bagnaia.

He successfully won in MotoGP Germany and twice runner-up in France and Italy, he is trying to make that trend come back at the Silverstone Circuit, England on August 6.
