Kasad Dudung Abdurachman Emphasizes The Priority Of The Success Of Battalion 122/TS In Prohibiting Illegal Activities In Papua

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dr. Dudung Abdurachman conducts Operation Readiness Inspection (Rikprepaops) Infantry Battalion (Yonif) 122/Tombak Sakti which will become the Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas) in the northern sector of Papua.

This is the emphasis of Kasad when conducting Operation Readiness Checks (Rikpresiops) of the Infantry Battalion (Yonif) 122/Sakti Reshuffle based in Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra, Thursday 8 June.

During the examination, Kasad emphasized the importance of preventing illegal activities such as smuggling weapons, ammunition, infiltration, and drug trafficking.

Kasad also emphasized increasing territorial vigilance and guidance to soldiers who will serve in Papua. He also reminded soldiers to always help the Papuan people. In addition, Kasad will provide equipment support and operating funds to the battalion.

As the final part of the activity, Kasad Dudung Abdurachman gave soldiers the opportunity to say goodbye to their families before carrying out their assignments.
