JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will play two FIFA Matchdays in early June 2023. Before meeting Argentina on June 19, the Garuda Squad will host Palestine which will take place at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) Surabaya, 14 June.

After previously announcing ticket prices for the Indonesia vs Argentina match, the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) then announced ticket prices for the match against Palestine.

"We have also coordinated with friends at Persebaya and other friends. We have decided that the price for economic tickets is Rp. 100,000 and VIP is Rp. 250 thousand," said Exco PSSI, Arya Sinulingga after accompanying PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir to monitor the condition of the GBT Stadium, Tuesday, June 6.

Of course, the price set is far below Indonesia vs Argentina tickets. As is known, PSSI released four ticket categories for the match against Argentina. Tickets sold are West and East VIPs at a price of IDR 4.25 million, Category 1 with a price of IDR 2.5 million, Category 2 IDR 1.2 million, and finally IDR 600 thousand for Category 3.

Tickets for the match, he continued, could be purchased starting June 7, 2023 at 10:00 WIB via tiket.com and the official PSSI portal. "Tiket can be purchased at tiket.com tomorrow at 10 am there is also through the pssi.org page," he said, as reported by Antara.

The man who also serves as Special Staff III of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) explained that the organizing committee (panpel) will provide a quota of 40 thousand tickets and 10 percent of the proceeds from the sale will be given to the Palestinian people.

"As stated by Mr. Ketum Erick Thohir, 10 percent of ticket sales are for the Palestinian people's struggle, friends can buy tickets there, supporters too," he said.

Meanwhile, in the same place, PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir hopes that the Surabaya City Government will continue to maintain the GBT Stadium which has met FIFA standards and supporters must also be good hosts when hosting Palestine.

"I hope of course the full support from the local government from the guardian to continue to maintain this stadium in accordance with the standards that have been carried out by us, and I also remind the supporters to really take care of their safety and be good hosts because it is important that what I have reminded again is that during the FIFA process, our readiness to roll out football is still under monitoring, so don't be euphoric as if we are free," he said.
