JAKARTA - The National Police Hospital, Kramat Jati conducted an autopsy on the body of a student at the UI Faculty of Language Sciences (FIB) majoring in Russian Literature, MNZ (19) who was killed by his senior.
"This afternoon the Depok Metro Police sent the body of a 2022 class student, the FIB majoring in the Russian Literature. So currently an autopsy process is being carried out by our doctor," said Head of the Police Hospital Brigadier General Hariyanto as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 4.
The National Police Hospital will soon convey the progress of the autopsy results.
"Indeed, his suspicions because he died were unnatural, so an autopsy was needed," he explained.
The wound on the victim's body is not yet known. Currently, the Police Hospital is about to do a post-mortem.
"Currently it is being investigated. So I just received a written request to carry out an external and internal post-mortem," said Hariyanto.
UI was also asked for information for the purposes of examining the bodies. Hariyanto said the family had also arrived at the Police Hospital.
"So earlier the public relations from the university had arrived, we asked for information from him to make this case clear. The family had also just been contacted, the information just arrived," he said.
MNZ's uncle, Muchtar Fatoni, said that the family hopes that the perpetrators can be punished as severely as the legal process will be carried out at the court level.
"We follow the ongoing legal process. But still the family, the victim's mother asked to be punished severely," Muchtar said when he arrived at the Forensic Installation room at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.
