Transjakarta Kalideres-Soetta Airport Route Tariff Proposed At IDR 5 Thousand

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the fare for bus services with the Kalideres Terminal route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) was proposed at IDR 5 thousand. Currently, the SH1-coded bus route is still in the testing phase. During the trial, the service has not yet been charged. Syafrin said, the tariff amount of Rp. 5,000 on the Kalideres-Soetta Airport route is a proposal from the results of their studies and surveys. "Today, the DKTJ recommendation has been issued, which was proposed for the tariff, DKTJ proposed Rp5,000. Of course we will still discuss this at the provincial level, after we received a letter from the DTKJ proposal," said Syafrin when met at the Fairmont Hotel, Tuesday, August 1. With the proposed Rp. 5,000 tariff, then the economic value of each customer service is Rp. 12 thousand, the DKI Provincial Government must provide a public service obligation (PSO) of Rp. 7 thousand per service. "With the amount of Rp. 5,000, of course there will be subsidies because the economic rate is around Rp. 12 thousand per share. The difference (Rp. 7 thousand) is subsidized by the government," said Syafrin. However, Syafrin said that the proposed Transjakarta tariff for entering Soetta Airport would still be discussed by the DKI Provincial Government, before it was approved or not. "We will follow up based on DTKJ recommendations. We will try to see first. Right, today they just informed. So, from there we tried to detail it," explained Syafrin. The Transjakarta service trial entering Soetta Airport has been carried out since July 5, 2023. After 2 weeks of trials, the Transjakarta bus route to Soetta was extended as of July 26. This is in line with the extension of the trial period for the Transjakarta bus service entering Soetta.

In the extension of the trial, Transjakarta added operational hours which originally operated at 06.00 –09.00 WIB and at 18.00 – 21.00 WIB to 05.30 –09.00 and 16.30 – 22.00 WIB. It was recorded that the number of bus service users with the Kalideres Terminal route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport was 14,222 people for about 3 weeks of testing.
