Garut Police, West Java, deployed a number of personnel to carry out routine patrols for students to carry out criminal acts and actions of motorcycle gangs that interfere with security and social security. He appealed to the public to support the program and not to carry out activities that interfere with public security, order and comfort, especially at night. "The curfew program for students is being carried out," he said. He conveyed the rules regarding curfew limits for students in Garut Regency to avoid criminal acts that endanger students and others. One of the successes in the patrol, he said, was to have secured a number of youths and students who carried out illegal races on Jalan Sawah Lega, Sukawening District, Garut, which had been disturbing the comfort of the community. The results of patrols controlling illegal racing were secured by six people. They have undergone examination and coaching, then called their parents and made a statement that they would not repeat the act. "Apart from the Sawahlega area, we also carry out night patrols in other areas," he said. Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan appreciated the Garut Police program which imposed curfew patrols for students to maintain security and social order, especially to keep students from wandering around at night.

The Regent said that he was ready to help the success of the curfew limit program for students by deploying a number of personnel from the Garut Civil Service Police Unit.
