The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police will examine the foundation that oversees Al Zaytun in investigating the alleged Money Laundering (TPPU) Panji Gumilang. The plan is that there are 10 people who will be questioned. "Approximately 10 people (from the Al Zaytun Foundation)," said Director of Special Economic Crimes Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan when confirmed, Friday, July 21. However, regarding the identity and timing of the examination of the 10 people, Whinu did not specify it. It was only emphasized that the inspection process was carried out next week. Previously, Whisnu also mentioned that in an effort to investigate the alleged money laundering offense involving Panji Gumulang, his party had asked for views from several experts. "Cordination and in-depth discussions have been carried out with money laundering experts and criminal experts regarding the alleged PG TPPU (Panji Gumilang)," he said. For now, the status of the alleged TPPU case is still under investigation. The investigative team still needs evidence before conducting a case title to determine whether or not it can be escalated to an investigation. "But it is still in the process of being investigated," said Whisnu. Meanwhile, Panji Gumilang's alleged involvement in the money laundering case was based on the analysis report (LHA) of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). In fact, elements of embezzlement and corruption were found.

"Starting from the LHA or the analysis report from the PPATK given to the National Police, it is suspected that there was an alleged criminal act committed by the PG community, which from the pattern found elements of money laundering or money laundry, criminal acts of corruption, embezzlement," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.
