JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Legal Regulation, Control and Enforcement Agency (LP3HI) Kurniawan Adi Nugroho said he would sue the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police again if the investigation of KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri in the alleged case of gratification of the use of helicopter facilities did not continue.
"We will see for six months whether the Bareskrim investigator can raise his status to an investigation and determine suspects or other forced attempts," Kurniawan said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 31.
The statement is related to the pretrial decision of the sole judge of the South Jakarta District Court, Afrizal Hadi, who stated that he did not accept the pretrial lawsuit with case number 36/Pid.Pra/2023/PN JKT.SEL related to the investigation of the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri in the case of alleged gratification of the use of helicopter facilities.
