The NTB Prosecutor's Office Is Ready To Law Prosecutors In Bima Who Are Suspected Of Being The 'Markus' Of Drugs

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office has stated that it is ready to take legal action against prosecutors suspected of brokering a drug case in Bima Regency. "If the information is correct, there is evidence, we are ready to follow up on the person concerned," said NTB Attorney General Efrien Saputera in Mataram, Antara, Friday, May 12. The Prosecutor's Office received information regarding the existence of the prosecutor who is suspected of being a drug marker from one of the media reports in the network (online) which is domiciled in Bima Regency. The prosecutor withdrew the money by promising to lighten the sentence for suspect MAR from 12 years to two years in prison. However, until the court's decision has permanent legal force, suspect MAR is still sentenced to 12 years in prison. The online media also quoted the family of the suspect MAR as stating that there was evidence of photos and videos of the handover of cash to prosecutors in Bima Regency. "He said there were photos and videos of handing over money to unscrupulous prosecutors. That's what we're waiting for," he said. He also encouraged the suspect's family to report this case to the prosecutor's office by attaching evidence of documentation of the handover of the money.

Efrien said that the NTB Prosecutor's Office through its supervisory function was also following up on the information by confirming with the prosecutor's office in Bima Regency.
