PAPUA - The Cartenz Peaceful Law Enforcement Task Force arrested the Head of Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains, for allegedly supplying firearms and ammunition to the KKB. Dansatgas Damai Cartenz Kombes Faizal Rahmadani confirmed the arrest of the Head of the Kenyam District with the initials MM (37). "It is true that the Cartenz Peaceful Law Enforcement Task Force has arrested the Head of Kenyam District in Kenyam. The arrests were made last April, and are currently still being investigated," Faizal told ANTARA, in Jayapura, Thursday, May 4. Admittedly, the arrest of MM was made because previously there were indications of involvement in helping to fund the Nduga KKB for the purchase of weapons and ammunition "The Damai Cartenz law enforcement task force is still processing the case involving MM," explained Faizal. Previously, the Cartenz Peace Task Force had secured 13 firearms and 710 rounds of ammunition of various caliber from the hands of the KKB. In addition to firearms and ammunition, 16 magazens, 136 sharp weapons, 76 cell phones, 23 HT, four SSB radios, seven cameras and binoculars each, SSB radio, laptops and Morning Star flags, four units each.

A total of 13 firearms were obtained from Nduga Regency as many as six pieces, Jayapura Regency four pieces, Puncak two firearms and one shoot from Jayapura Regency.
