After receiving a report from the victim, AKP Haryatmo and members of the Ajibarang Police immediately went to the scene to conduct a crime scene (TKP).
When the crime scene was carried out, he continued, members of the Ajibarang Police found the engine cap lying on the victim's yard. He suspects that the perpetrator first damaged the alarm network and car doors before taking the vehicle away.
"Regarding this incident, we urge the public to increase their vigilance. If necessary, the gate is double locked and install CCTV cameras so that the perpetrators of the theft can be monitored," said the police chief.
Meanwhile, Rizki admitted that the car with license plate number R 1107 IG was only used to stay in touch on Wednesday.
After being parked in the front yard of the house, he said, the car's ignition key was placed on the inside table.
"Earlier at around 05.00 WIB, I was shocked that the car had disappeared and the gate was open because I forgot it was not locked. I checked the ignition of the car was still lying on the table," he explained.
As a result of the incident, the victim suffered a loss of around Rp150 million. He expects the police to arrest the perpetrator of the theft and find his car.
