JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto received a visit from PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan at his residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Saturday, April 5.

During the meeting, Prabowo admitted that he talked about finding a middle way related to the 2024 election so that the atmosphere would be cool for the sake of the people's peace of mind. "Today, it is our turn to receive the leadership from PAN, the chairman of Mr. Zulhas with the leadership elements, the secretary-general and the leadership of the complete faction. This is also in the context of how I conveyed a few days ago that towards 2024 which will soon be in front of us, the leaders of political parties carry out our duties, namely more intensively in conducting political communication," Prabowo said at a press conference in Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, April 8. The Minister of Defense said that the political party leaders visited each other, exchanged views and opinions in seeking the best format for the nation and state.

Moreover, Prabowo said, Gerindra and PAN are old friends. Where Zulhas has supported Prabowo since the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections. "The important point is that we meet to continue our efforts to find a format against 2024 elections. So party leaders, yes, we now have to be tired to find a format so that the people are calm, so that the transition is all cool, this is what we want and the middle way. We want a moderation, so we don't have to go out," concluded Prabowo.
