JAKARTA - Two of the three suspects in the Whatsapp status case of the police taking home the used clothes confiscated with the initials IAS and EW are said to be buzzers. They have a robotic system that can spread content on social media.
"For the time being, the results of our investigation process are indeed Buzzers. So they are Buzzers," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Auliansyah Lubis to reporters, Thursday, April 6.
By owning the robot system, both of them are suspected of often spreading provocative content. Their goal is to cause trouble on social media.
"Buzzers make trouble on social media finally, it makes it complicated then," he said.
Moreover, the two suspects spread the hoax content on purpose. Because they don't like the police institution.
"If the IAS and EW do this because he really doesn't like the Police," he said
Meanwhile, another suspect with the initials AM admitted that the motive for spreading hoax content was just fun.
"Making a video that says he did this is just for fun," said Auliansyah.
In this case, the police imposed Article 14 and Article 15 of Law Number 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations.
In addition, the police also applied Article 28 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 2 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.
