Dozens Of Residents' Houses In The Bahar River, Jambi, Were Damaged By The Tornado

Dozens of houses belonging to the Bahar River, Muaro Jambi Regency, were damaged by a tornado (VIA ANTARA).

JAMBI - Dozens of houses in Sungai Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency, were hit by a tornado. In the incident that occurred on Tuesday, April 4 that night, three people were injured. One of the victims, Bahar Mamad, said that the average damage occurred to the roof of the house. The walls of the house were also the same because trees fell on them. At the time of the incident at around 22.00 WIB, residents were in the middle of tadarus. The electricity was cut off due to a fallen tree. Two residents and one child were injured. For child victims, continued Bahar Mamad as quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 5, he was taken to the hospital receiving treatment. Meanwhile, two other adult victims suffered minor injuries. Currently residents and the village government, sub-districts and police officers and the TNI are carrying out the evacuation process for the destroyed houses.

Officers are still focused on cleaning the houses of the affected residents.
