Shandy Aulia And David Herbowo Are Declared Officially Divorced

JAKARTA - The divorce lawsuit filed by Shandy Aulia against David Herbowo on April 11, was finally decided by the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court (PN).

At the trial which took place today, Wednesday, July 12, Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno alias Kris as Shandy Aulia's attorney said that the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court granted Shandy Aulia's lawsuit.

"So as of today, Shandy Aulia's divorce from her husband, David Herbowo, was declared out," Kris told the media crew at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on Wednesday, July 12.

In the trial of the verdict, both Shandy Aulia and David Herbowo were both absent.

Kris said that his client had intended to attend the verdict hearing. However, because Shandy's travel distance was deemed insufficient with the trial time, Kris asked him to be absent.

"At first I wanted to come here, but I said it had broken up. Not here yet, so I just told him. So he was at Warung Buncit Raya, I told him, even if he came here it was useless, so I told him," said Kris.

Furthermore, Kris explained that there were about 14 days to file an appeal regarding today's decision. This is completely left to both parties.

"From the procedural law, after this decision there is a grace period of 14 days to give the verdict. Well, they have the right to appeal or not," he said.

However, Kris said it was unlikely for his client or David to file an appeal. He said that the divorce had been agreed upon by both parties, before the trial decision.

"But, from the start we said that we separated well, but chances are small, we'll see later 14 days later according to the procedural law, whether there was an appeal or what," said Kris.

It is known that Shandy and David married on December 12, 2011. They were blessed with a child named Claire Herbowo who was born on February 12, 2020.

Then, Shandy filed for divorce from the South Jakarta District Court. This lawsuit is registered with case number 361/Pdtg 2023/SELATAN JAKARTA District Court.
