Confessing Yama Carlos For 5 Months Not Meeting Children, Complaining To Komnas PA

JAKARTA - In the midst of his divorce from Arfita Dwi Putri, Yama Carlos is still trying to meet his son, who he hasn't seen in person for almost five months. Most recently, he complained to the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA).

Yama Carlos admitted that his access to meet children was still hindered by Arfita. Because there has been no court decision on his divorce case, Yama decided to file a complaint with Komnas PA.

"This July, even on July 21, I have never even been given access to meet my own children. They have too many requirements and I consulted with Opung (Arist Merdeka Sirait)," said Yama Carlos during a press conference at Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, Monday, July 3.

In almost five months, Yama Carlos admitted that he was only allowed to communicate with his son via video call once, when his son celebrated his birthday on April 23.

The video of the last call with his son is also said to be very limited. Yama said that Arfita looked uncomfortable when he asked several questions to his son.

So far, Yama also admitted that he had tried to find the whereabouts of his son. However, some of his efforts were always blocked by Arfita. In fact, Yama said that Arfita used someone's services to prevent her from meeting children.

"I, as his biological father, was not given access to meet, I did some efforts, though. At the early crime scene mentally, Marco had to change places again, the incident at the second TKP, my distance from Marco was only a door, the woman and Marco were inside. I was accompanied by a proman and chief security in front, but the woman did not open the door," said Yama.

"Why am I asking to be accompanied by Propam, because there are allegations that uniformed persons want to interfere, want to help prevent me from the start. I will open it in court," he continued.

Currently, Yama admits that he has reduced the intensity in finding his child's whereabouts. He did not want his son to continue to be taken by Arfita from place to place. The reason, Yama said that Arfita always moved when her hiding place became known.

"What I do now relax a little, because I think about Marco, it's a pity that the child keeps chasing me. And that's a woman who also doesn't know what her brain is. The point is, if I find it mental-mental again. I think about Marco's safety, it's a pity if you have to be mentally-mental," said Yama Carlos.

"Now I don't know where the point is. Even though I've been looking for it, I don't know where the point is," concluded Yama Carlos.
