Jambi Police Destroy Narcotics Worth IDR 347 Billion, Including Liquid Methamphetamine 264 Kg
JAMBI - Jambi Police destroyed evidence of narcotics in the form of liquid methamphetamine weighing 264.73 kilograms (kg), ecstasy pills 4.188 grams and marijuana 1.28 kG whose economic value exceeded IDR 347 billion.
"The total value of all the evidence reached more than IDR 347 billion," said Head of Wassidik Ditresnarkoba Jambi Police AKBP Andi M Ichsan in Jambi, Thursday, August 3, as reported by Antara.
The destruction was carried out by burning evidence using an incinerator from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), while the liquid methamphetamine was dissolved with cleaning fluid.
Andi said efforts to eradicate drugs must be carried out massively, not only being the responsibility of law enforcement officers. For this reason, it is necessary to play an active role for the community in campaigning for the dangers of drugs.
With the evidence of methamphetamine, if 1 gram is used for five people, it will be able to save 1,334,952 people.
Meanwhile, if in 1 gram of marijuana is used for four people, then the evidence can save 5,156 lives. Meanwhile, evidence of ecstasy pills weighing 4,188 grams in the form of 11 pieces can save 11 lives.
