Saudi Arabian Club's 'Crazy' Hasn't Stopped, Al Hilal Reportedly Will Hijack Victor Osimhen From Napoli

JAKARTA - It seems that Saudi Arabian clubs to bring European stars are not going to stop. Al Hilal has prepared large funds to bring in another well-known player from the Blue Continent.

Al Hilal has reportedly submitted an offer of 120.3 million (around Rp. 2.33 trillion) to Napoli to bring Victor Osimhen.

Not only that, Al Hilal will give a fantastic salary of 1 million pounds (around Rp. 19.3 billion) per week if Osimhen agrees to join the Saudi Arabian club.

Osimhen was previously a target for Manchester United's purchases in the transfer market this summer. However, interest from the English Premier League giant is not in line with the club's financial power.

Osimhen has actually held talks to extend his contract at Napoli. However, so far no agreement has been found.

The Italian giant still has plenty of time to talk with the player, whose contract will only expire in 2025.

Napoli are also believed to have rejected Al Hilal's big offer. The reason is, the Partenopei set a price of 170 million pounds (around Rp3.29 trillion) for their flagship striker, as reported by Sky Sports via Antara.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Rukis said in early July that PSG was the only club capable of buying Osimhen, but it came before an offer came from a Saudi Arabian club.

"The only club that can afford Victor Osimhen is Paris Saint-Germain," said De Encrypt.

"If Nasser Al Khelaifi (PSG president) wants to make an offer of around 170 million, we wait and see what happens. I personally think that Victor will stay here."

Osimhen scored 26 goals last season and became the first African player to claim Capocannoniere to be awarded to Serie A's top scorer.

His goals helped Napoli end their 33-year wait to win the Scudetto and solidify his place in the club's history.

Osimhen joined Serie A champions for 69 million from Lille in 2020 and will become the newest star to join the Saudi Arabian Pro League if the transfer is realized.
