Electric Pole Collision Truck, Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang KRL Travel Hampered

JAKARTA - The journey of the electric train (KRL) across Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang experienced obstacles due to a truck that hit the Upper Stream Electricity Pole (LAA) between Pondok Ranji and Kebayoran Stations. This collision caused the LAA pole to tilt and block the KRL lane.

External Relations & Corporate Image Care KAI Commuter Manager Leza Arlan revealed that the incident actually occurred at the KM 17+5 point between Pondok Ranji-Kebayoran Station.

"KAI Commuter apologizes for the obstacles to the operation of the Rangkasbitung commuter line this morning, Tuesday, July 25 at around 08.30 WIB," he said when confirmed by reporters, Tuesday, July 25.

Leza said related officers from KAI Commuter and KAI Daop 1 Jakarta immediately made repairs at the scene. To support repairs, starting at 08.43 WIB, the electricity on the cross was turned off for the safety and safety of Commuter Line travel and repair processes.

Some Points Can't Be Passed

KAI Commuter also carries out a Commuter Line Rangkasbitung travel scheme so that it can still be served. However, some of the affected points cannot be passed temporarily.

"To continue to be able to serve Commuter Line trips, KAI Commuter has engineered the Commuter Line Rangkasbitung travel pattern. Where the commuter line trip is from the direction of Rangkasbitung/Parung Panjang for the direction to Tanah Abang, the trip is only up to Sudimara Station to return to Rangkasbitung," he said.

Meanwhile, continued Leza, the commuter line trip from the direction of Tanah Abang, was only up to Kebayoran to return to Tanah Abang.

As previously reported, the fuso truck overturned on Jalan Bintaro Permai 4, Pesanggarahan, South Jakarta. As a result, the Kereta Api (KA) electric pole tilted so that the flow of land transportation electricity went out and the trip was stopped.

The Head of Pesanggrahan Police, Kompol Tedjo Asmoro, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 25, at 08.25 WIB.

The incident started when a truck was driven, Edy Sarwono (52) drove from Pulogadung to LotteMart Bintaro. But on his way, he opened the Google Map application.

Apparently, the application directed a narrow road, so the driver turned the vehicle around. Then, when Edy tried to turn the truck around, the truck's rear tire entered the drain hole.
