These Alphard Twins Are Starting To Be Sold In England

JAKARTA - Lexus, a premium vehicle manufacturer from Japan, has officially brought one of their newest luxury cars to the British market, the Lexus LM, which is none other than the twin of the fourth generation Alphard.

The name "LM" stands for "Luxury Mover" which means "Mewah Mover". As the name implies, this car offers comfort and luxury for executives who want the best service.

This car has a very wide dimension, with a length of 5,130 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,945 mm. Equipped with sliding doors and alloy rims measuring 17 inches or 19 inches, as reported by Autocar, July 24.

Lexus offers maximum comfort in the cabin. Consumers will be spoiled in airline-style seats, 48-inch television screens, and a premium audio system with 23 speakers.

The facility does not include several other features that make passengers feel at home in the LM Lexus, such as USB ports, wireless chargers, reading lights, refrigerators, and umbrellas.

To easily manage the cabin system, Lexus provides a voice control system that serves passengers at the back.

However, this Alphard twin is also equipped with a smartphone-like control panel to regulate climate control, armchair function, interior lighting, window curtain, and audio settings.

Regarding machines, Lexus LM adopts hybrid technology. Powered by a 2.5 liter capacity engine from the NX or RX model, this car is capable of producing 242 dk of power and 238 Nm of torque.

Lexus LM comes with a front wheel drive system as a standard. However, there is a choice of a four-wheel E-Four drive system that provides extra power from electric to wheel if desired.

As a premium vehicle, of course, the price offered by Lexus LM is not cheap. Prices start at 89,995 pounds, or around Rp. 1.7 billion. For the four-wheeled E-Four drive option, customers must add 3,000 pounds, or around Rp. 57.8 million.

For the highest variant, Takumi, which is equipped with four airline-style seats on the interior, costs 112,995 pounds, or around Rp. 2.1 billion.

At this price, Lexus LM is the most expensive premium MPV vehicle to sell in the UK, even across Europe. In comparison, Mercedes-Benz V-Class is priced at 69,985 pounds, or around Rp1.3 billion.
