Meta Adds Many New Features To Create Video Content On Facebook
JAKARTA - Meta has not given up on Facebook, the company has re-launched many new features for video content on its social media.
One of them is a video editing tool introduced by the company for Instagram Reels format earlier this year. Users can now edit the videos they have posted on Feeds.
"We have started rolling out changes that present the same editing tool from Reels to create dynamic videos for Feeds," Meta said in its announcement, quoted Tuesday, July 18.
From there, users can add audio, music, text, accelerate, reverse and change clips, making it easier for them to perfect Reels. This editing feature is also available on Meta Business Suite for Reels and videos on Feeds.
Users can combine the right sound into the video by browsing and adding music clips, audio, recording the sound and reducing unwanted noise.
In fact, users can now upload HDR videos from their phones to Reels. In addition, Meta also changes the functionality of the Video tab previously known as Facebook Watch.
Now Meta makes it a platform for all videos on Facebook, including Reels, long content, and Live.
The Video tab will look familiar, where users can scroll vertically through personalized Feeds that recommend all types of video content.
Users can also see it horizontally, so they can quickly switch to short videos.
Soon, users will see Video as a tab in the shortcut in iOS at the bottom of the app, and on Android at the top. The tab in the shortcut changes based on the app part that users use the most.

Furthermore, Meta redesigned the Explore video to help users find and dive deeper into popular video topics on Facebook.
The Explore Tab can be easily found by tapping the search icon on the Video tab which will appear in various rolls, long videos, and live videos related to relevant topics and hashtags.
"We use human curation mixes and machine learning to select popular topics and videos and show what we think you're going to enjoy and be interesting about," Meta said.
Now on Facebook, users can view and write comments on Instagram Reels that have been recommended on Facebook without the need to switch between apps, by adding Facebook and Instagram accounts to the Account Center first.
