Aceh Police Search The Central Aceh Health Office
The Unit I Team of the Sub-Directorate of Corruption Crimes (Tipikor) of the Special Criminal Directorate of the Aceh Police searched the Central Aceh District Health Office (Dinkes) regarding the investigation into alleged corruption in the construction of hospitals.
"The search is to find documents related to the construction work of a regional hospital in the central region of Aceh Province for the 2011 fiscal year," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Aceh Police, Kombes Winardy, in Banda Aceh, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.
The search took place at the Central Aceh Health Office office in Takengon, Tuesday (11/7), led by Kanit I, Sub-Directorate III of Corruption, Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, Kompol Budi Nasuha Waruwu.
This search was carried out to find administrative evidence to complete documents in the context of investigating the case of the construction of a regional hospital in the central region of Aceh Province.
"The search was carried out for two hours accompanied and witnessed by the Secretary of the Central Aceh District Health Office Winarno with staff," said Winardy.
"From the search, the team secured dozens of documents which were then made a handover report and will immediately be followed up to obtain a confiscation permit from the local district court," he said.

Currently, the investigation into the alleged corruption case in the construction of the hospital is awaiting the completion of the calculation of state financial losses by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
"Investigators are also accompanying BPKP to clarify the final statements of witnesses and technical teams from the Lhokseumawe Polytechnic and Syiah Kuala University. Later, after the results of the BPKP come out, a suspect will be determined," he said.
The budget for the continued work on the construction of the regional magic house reached Rp7.9 billion. The hospital's continued construction budget is managed by the Central Aceh District Health Office.
"Regarding this case, investigators apply Article 2 and Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended into Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption in conjunction with 55 of the Criminal Code," said Winardy.
