Ancol Targets 9 Million Tourist Visits This Year
JAKARTA - The management of Ancol Dreamland Park in North Jakarta is targeting nine million tourist visits by 2023.
President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Winarto in Jakarta, Monday, said that the target of the subsidiary of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk was set at the company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) on May 19, 2023 at Putri Duyung Resort.
The target of nine million tourist visits by 2023 is up about 20 percent from the number of tourist visits from January to the end of December 2022 as many as 7.8 million people.
Along with the easing given by the government to community recreation activities after the COVID-19 pandemic, Winartoptoistis, the target number of tourist visits to Ancol Dreamland Park can be achieved.

"The improving pandemic conditions have contributed significantly to Ancol by helping increase the number of visits in 2022," said Winarto.
Winarto explained that shareholders also increased their operating income target by 15 percent from 2022 or reached IDR 1.1 trillion in 2023.
He said operating revenue in 2022 reached IDR 957 billion, an increase of 146 percent from 2021 of IDR 389.3 billion.
PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (PJAA) announced that the company's net profit in 2022 will reach IDR 152 billion, an increase of around 156 percent from 2021, when PJAA posted a net loss of IDR 275 billion due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As net profit increased, the management of PJAA decided to return to distribute dividends of IDR 29 per share or equivalent to 30 percent of the total net profit in 2022 at the 2023 Annual GMS.
According to Winarto, the dividend distribution is a form of Ancol's management's gratitude to all visitors and related parties who have provided trust and support to the company so that employee performance can be maintained so that the company can return to profit after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We also thank all visitors and related parties who have given their trust and support to Ancol so that we still survive and even return to profit," he said.
Winarto said that his party is ready to continue various internal transformations that can increase profitability as optimally as possible and maintain financial ratios that allow the company to rise from the brink of loss and successfully book profits.
Such as developing a business in the property sector, in addition to focusing on developing the recreation sector.

In the recreation business, various special programs will be run this year to withdraw visits to Ancol such as free ticket programs every month, large-scale music concerts and themed performances in all recreational units.
Winarto said the number of obligations (liability) for the PJAA business fell to IDR 2.33 trillion, down from IDR 2.93 trillion the previous year.
Meanwhile, the total equity rose to Rp1.54 trillion from Rp1.49 trillion. However, the total assets decreased to Rp3.89 trillion from Rp4.42 trillion.
