Meningitis Vaccine Becomes Additional Feature In One Healthy Mobile
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has added a Meningitis Meningokokus Vaccine certificate to the One Healthy Mobile feature which is one of the requirements for carrying out the pilgrimage.
"This Meningitis Vaccine Certificate is a digital certificate other than COVID-19 which is now in One Healthy Mobile," said Expert Staff for Health Technology and Chief Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health Setiaji, quoted by Antara, Sunday
He said the policy was in line with Satu Sehat Mobile's vision as a public health application, as well as the first step to digitizing all non-COVID-19 vaccine certificates and immunizing children in Indonesia.
Setiaji explained that currently prospective pilgrims can register, check, and download the Meningitis Vaccine certificate digitally through vaccine features and immunization at One Healthy Mobile.

In addition to being digitally accessible, said Setiaji, prospective pilgrims are still advised to bring the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICV) or a physical yellow card and show it to related parties as evidence.
On November 11, 2022, the Indonesian Ministry of Health issued Circular Number HK.02.02/CI/9325/2022 which explained that the Meningitis Vaccine is one of the mandatory requirements for prospective pilgrims, but is not required for Umrah pilgrims.
Meningitis vaccination is still recommended for prospective Umrah pilgrims, especially for those who have comorbid diseases. Vaccination can be carried out in health facilities that provide international vaccination services.
Prospective pilgrims are also advised to change the COVID-19 certificate format to Saudi Arabia International Certificate (KSA Tawakkalna) before departure by accessing the option to Change Certificate Format in the Vaccine Certificate & Immunization menu, then select the Saudi Arabia' (KSA) state.
How to Register and Check the Meningitis Vaccine Certificate in One Healthy Mobile is done by downloading and opening the latest version of the One Healthy Mobile application, pressing the Vaccine and Immunization menu icon on the homepage, and selecting the Vaccine List, then clicking on the Non-COVID-19 Vaccine.
