Just Nine Years Old, Prince George Will Be One of the Four Pages of Honor The Coronation of King Charles
JAKARTA - The grandson of King of England Charles III, Prince George, and grandchildren of Queen Camilla will play a major role in next month's British monarchy, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Tuesday.
George, 9 years old, the eldest son heir to the throne Prince William, will be one of the King's Four Pages of Honor who will accompany him in the grand ceremony on May 6, joining the procession through Westminster Abbey's interior in London.
"We are all very happy with Prince George's role in this appropriation, this will be a very special moment," a Kensington Palace spokesman said.
Prince George will be the youngest future king to have an official role in merit. This will be the first time he has been given the main role in the kingdom, reported Metro.
Joining Prince George are Lord Oliver Cholomondeley (13), Nicholas Barclay (13) ,and Ralph Tollemache (12 years). The three of them are the sons of the King's friends
Prince George, along with other Pages of Honor, will wear an old red robe during appropriation, and must hold his grandfather's robe during procession through the interior of Westminster Abbey.
Meanwhile, the same role for Queen Camilla will be played by three grandchildren, the twins Gus and Louis Lopes (13), and Freddy Parker Bowles (13), as well as his son's nephew, Arthur Elliot (10).

British newspapers have previously reported that the queen consort wanted her grandchildren to play an important role, even though their parents were children from her marriage to her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.
This announcement comes as the Palace also released details of an invitation for "The Coronation of Their Royal Highnesses King Charles III & Queen Camilla" which will be sent out to over 2.000 guests of the coronation, along with a new photo of the couple.
