Meta Launches Message Edit Feature On Instagram Direct Message

JAKARTA - After regularly launching a new feature for Threads, Meta has now announced the launch of a number of new features on Instagram Direct Message (DM).

First, now you can edit messages in DM up to 15 minutes after sending. To edit messages, press and hold messages to be sent, then select edit from the drop-down menu.

In addition, Meta also launches a feature that allows you to embed up to three messages either individual or group in DM. That way, you can more easily find messages from certain people.

To embed the chat at the top of your inbox, slide it to the left or tap and hold the chat, then tap'strengthen'. You can choose to remove the pin thread at any time.

Furthermore, you can now also choose to enable or disable read receipts. Thus, other people will not be able to find out whether you have read the message or not.

Not finished there, you can now save your favorite sticker in DM to make it easier to access. Press and hold the sticker you want to save and you will find it at the top the next time you open the sticker.

Finally, you can always change the chat theme in DM as desired. Meta also launched five new themes, including Cinta (soon to be annimated), Lollipop, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and more.
