JAKARTA – Not only releasing the latest series of iPhones, Apple also launched a new model of MacBook which was showcased at the Apple Event 2023 on September 12, 2023.
The two newest MacBook models that Apple launched are the MacBook Air with two different sizes, namely 13 inches and 15 inches. Both use aluminum material which can be recycled.
These two MacBooks use a Liquid Retina screen which keeps the screen thin even though the size is quite large, up to 15 inches. Both also use the M2 chip.
The chip on display is better than the M1, which is claimed to have the highest speed due to a system-on-a-chip (SoC) breakthrough that combines an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, memory and others.
By using SoC, the 15 and 13 inch MacBook Air is able to work faster with less power so that users can run several applications without problems.
This model uses Neural Engine 16 which is capable of running 15.8 trillion operations per second because it has up to 24 GB of memory and a memory bandwidth of 100 GB/second.
