Trying BYD Seals At Sentul Circuit, Instant Personnel And Healthy Driving Comfort

JAKARTA - Seal is one of three BYD electric cars brought to Indonesia. With a design inspired by the sea, this car has power that is classified as instantaneous.

Luther T. Panjaitan, Head of Marketing of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, said BYD Seal reflected a step forward in the company's commitment to presenting high-powered sedan electric vehicles to the Indonesian market.

"The acceleration ability is able to give a new meaning to driving speed by EV. Thus, BYD Seal will provide a thrilling driving experience, but still fulfill BYD's vision for a more environmentally friendly future," he said, at Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java, Monday, January 5.

This time, the VOI team had the opportunity to try out the sense of driving Seals, their staff, and the comfort of this one car.

On the first occasion, testing started in a straight line to feel the instants of BYD Seal, with a distance of approximately 400 meters.

By implementing this car sport mode, it offers an instant energy sensation, just like a sports car. On the occasion of testing, the highest speed to try reaches 180 km/hour.

After slashing the straight lane, testing continues around the Sentul circuit to feel the sensation of comfort, from handling, to stunning features.

When passing several corners, this one electric sedan handle is very comfortable, even when passing an uneven track, aka the suspension is also very comfortable, even though the speed of the car ranges from 70-80 km/hour.

In addition, we also tested the zigzag lane provided by BYD, don't care about the speed of 45 km/hour this car managed to step on the gas without touching the barrier given.

The comfort of driving is also supported by a luxurious cabin. With easy control, to a simple but luxurious interior design, it offers comfort.

As additional information, BYD Seal carries the same battery, namely the BYD Blade Battery (LFP) battery with a capacity of 61.44 kWh for Dynamic type, while Premium and Performance types carry 82.56 kWh of battery. Type Dynamic has a range of 510 km, Premium 650 km, and Performance is 580 km in range. The matter of charging the battery is supported by a speed of up to 150 kW.

Regarding its performance, Seal type Dynamic produces 150 kW of power or the equivalent of 201 HP and 310 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Premium type is 230 kW or about 308 HP and 360 Nm torque, and the Performance type is 390 kW or about 523 HP and 670 Nm torque.
