CGI Work On Bloody Train Film Takes One Year

JAKARTA - After a long wait finally the film Kereta Hemorrhagic is ready to be enjoyed by horror lovers throughout the archipelago starting February 1. MVP Pictures has just held Press Screening, Press Conference and Gala Premier at XXI Epicentrum Walk, Jakarta. MVP Pictures as the production house has again appointed Rizal Mantovani as the Director. After being successful with Kuntilanak Universe, Rizal is trusted to work on the film Bloody Train. For writing the story assisted by Erwanto Alphadullah, a talented young writer who won the Best Screenwriter of the Horror genre at the 2023 Indonesian Journalist Film Festival.

"My players and I agreed to ignore the existence of the train as much as possible and focus on the drama that happened. The train is the place where it happened, but if we put our character's emotions first, the presence of the train itself is not something we think too much about," said Rizal Mantovani when asked about what advice was given to the players when they found out that the shooting was using an artificial train.

Amrit Punjabi as Co Producer also explained the process of working after the production of the film Bloody Train which took time. "We have prepared approximately a full year for the CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) work process, shooting at the end of 2022, and just finished post-production in early 2024. Obviously, our seriousness is not a joke, since our pre-production has been very focused on all the teams involved to prepare this well."

The film The Bloody Train has finished filming in December 2022. Tells the story of Purnama, played by Hana Malasan, who celebrates her recovery from Cancer, which almost took her life, while inviting her younger sister, Kembang, played by Zara Leola, to vacation at a remote nature resort by riding a tourist train.
