The Reason Iqbaal Ramadhan No Longer Plays The Figure Of Dilan In The 1995 Ancika Film

JAKARTA - MD Entertainment and Six Nine Production officially released their latest film trailer entitled Ancika: Dia Yang Bersamaku 1995. This film is a sequel to the Film Dilan 1990 and 1991 which was adapted from the novel by Pidi Baiq.

In this film, director Benni Setiawan collaborates with Arbani Yasiz as Dilan and Azizi Asadel alias Zee JKT48 as Ancika for the main role.

At a press conference, Film Producer Ancika 1995, Budi Ismanto explained the change of figure of Dilan, previously played by Iqbaal Ramadhan, to Arbani Yasiz.

"About why the player was chosen by Arbani to replace iqbal, people know it was in iqbal tea. But with our development, our team, creative, pidi baiq and I too. Why Arbani? From the physical aspect okay, acting okay," said Budi Ismanto at Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 22.

Budi revealed that it was from Iqbaal himself who refused to return to play the figure of Dilan in this Ancika film. Iqbaal said that he wanted to get out of the Dilan character himself, which was already iconic.

"Then why not Iqbaal? The problem is not with us, in Iqbaal. We have offered it to Iqbaal, but Iqbaal at that time reasoned through Pidi's father if I'm not mistaken that he wanted to get out of Dilan's character. finally, Iqbaal refused to play again in this sequel," explained Budi Ismanto.
