JAKARTA - Bobby and Chanwoo iKON have announced their plans to carry out military service (immil). The two of them entered the military only one week apart.

Quoting Soompi, Saturday 6 April, 143 Entertainment as the agency that oversees the two announced that Bobby would register on May 21, Chanwoo then on May 27

"Hello, this is 143 Entertainment. We would like to thank iKONIC (as iKON fans) for always giving iKON love, support, and continuous encouragement," reads the official statement 143 Entertainment.

"Member [iCON] Bobby will enter the military training center on May 21, and Jung Chanwoo will (register) on May 27," the statement continued.

The agency hopes that fans will continue to provide support and encouragement to Bobby and Chanwoo so that they can carry out their military duties properly.

Finally, the agency emphasized that there would be no official event for fans or the media regarding Bobby and Chanwoo's departure to the military location.

"We ask for your understanding of the fact that they are participating in [the military] personally and for the sake of preventing incidents due to confusion at the location. Thank you," the agency said in a statement.
