In preparation for Eid homecoming in 2024, the police will check on a number of routes that are the main crossings for travelers.

Karoops Polda Central Java Kombes Basya Radyananda together with Dirlantas Jateng Kombes Sonny Irawan and a number of main officials from the Central Java Police also conducted an examination by visiting Brebes City, Tuesday, March 19.

Check the lane starting from the northern coast line. Then, towards the exit of the Pejagan toll road to the Dermoleng Flyover, Ketanggungan District.

In his statement, Dirlantas Jateng Kombes Sonny Irawan said that the check was carried out to find out the routes to be used during the 2024 homecoming.

Checking is also carried out on a number of trouble spots (problem points) that have a high level of density and traffic congestion when the homecoming flow takes place.

In the Brebes Regency area, it is predicted that the trouble spot point is located on the exit route of the Pejagan toll road to the Slawi border on the Klonegan flyover. Dirlantas said, one of them was at the T-junction of Dermolecular Responsibility.

"At Dermoleng, the point of density or trouble spot occurs because of Micro, Small, Preventing Enterprises (MSMEs) and Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU)," said Dirlantas.

Then trouble spot then located at the Klonegan Flyover. At this point the density occurs due to a meeting of currents from Purwokerto, Slawi and Pejagan.

"With the results of this check, it can be used as a guide to determine how many personnel are deployed and what traffic engineering must be prepared and what infrastructure must be maximized," he explained.

Regarding the existence of several lane points that still lack lighting and signs, Dirlantas said that his party had sent a letter to the relevant agencies.

"Regarding roads, we have sent a letter to the BPPJN (National Implementation Center Office). Meanwhile, regarding the signs, we have also sent a letter to the Transportation Service and the provincial PUPR Office to immediately carry out lighting," he said.

"Coordination with BPPJN is also carried out regarding all roads on the Pantura arterial route. If there is damage, it can be repaired immediately. Hopefully, April 1 will be finished," concluded Dirlantas
