16 TPS In South Tangerang Conduct Re-voting This Week

TANGERANG - Head of the South Tangerang General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), Muhammad Acep said there were around 16 polling stations (TPS) to re-vote.

He explained that the repetition was carried out following the delay in the voting which was supposed to be done yesterday, Wednesday, February 14.

Acep said the repetition of the 2024 election vote was based on a report from the District Election Supervisory Committee (Panwascam).

"I've asked Panwascam, Saturday or Sunday," said Acep in a short message, Thursday, February 15.

Acep said, there are 16 polling stations in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang (Tangsel) which will re-vote.

"16 polling stations (TPS)," he said.

However, Acep has not been able to confirm if there will be heavy rain, then there will be another flood. So it is likely that it will be delayed again.

The Mayor of Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie, said that there were 16 polling stations (TPS) in Pondok Aren's fire, South Tangerang, had to be postponed due to the flood that submerged the area.

"I received a report in the Pondok Aren area that approximately 16 polling stations had to be postponed," said South Tangerang Mayor Benyamin Davnie to reporters at Pondok Maharta, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Wednesday, February 14.
